At Husky House Music, every class is built around creativity, collaboration, and fun. Students don’t just learn to play; they learn to make music that matters to them. From songwriting and band projects to hands-on instrument lessons, our programs help every musician discover their sound.
Our classes go beyond traditional lessons. Students dive into real-world music making, writing songs, recording, performing, and building confidence along the way. Whether you’re just starting out or ready to take the stage, there’s a place for you at Husky House Music.

At Husky House Music, lessons are built around creativity, student voice, and real-world music-making. Songwriting is a core part of every program, giving students the tools to create music that truly reflects who they are. Students are never limited to just one instrument—our flexible, exploratory approach encourages them to try multiple instruments, blend sounds, and discover what inspires them most. Every lesson is personalized, hands-on, and designed to help each musician build confidence while making music that feels relevant and exciting

Make music a family activity! These collaborative lessons are perfect for siblings or parents and kids who want to learn together and build shared musical memories.

Lessons are paid on a per term basis equal to the number of lessons in the term times the base rate plus material costs (ranging from $10-$30 depending on the books/ materials needed for that term). Example: 60 minute lessons= 60 x 10 weeks + $20 materials cost would be $620 for the term
Lessons can be paid in a single payment for a 5% discount or equal payments split up over the number months in the term. Example: $620 either paid as a single payment with the 5% single payment discount is $589 or 3 payments of $206.67 paid at the first lessons of the 3 month term.
The number and dates of lessons are set at the start of each term to accommodate any known scheduling conflicts. One makeup lesson per term is guaranteed for unexpected absences such as sickness. Additional makeup lessons may be offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability.
Summer term lessons are priced by the individual lesson to accommodate travel and camp schedules.
Music Explorers
Piano / Strum Drum Hum
Sing, drum, and play instruments in this fun and playful beginner class designed especially for young musicians. This fun and interactive beginner group class introduces students to the basics of singing, drumming, and playing either piano (piano) or guitar (Strum, Drum, Hum). Students will explore rhythm through drumming, learn simple songs on the piano, sing together, and build strong musical foundations through games and hands-on activities. Along the way, they’ll grow confidence, creativity, and a love for making music. Instruments are available for use during class—just bring your creativity!

During our summer Music Explorers camp, students will explore both guitar and piano in addition to singing and drumming.
SongMAKER Studio
Unleash your creativity and bring your original music to life.
Songmaker Studio is a songwriting and music production camp designed for students who want to create their own music. Throughout the week, students will learn how to turn their ideas into a fully developed song—from lyrics and melody to recording and production.
Using GarageBand, students will build beats, layer instruments, and record vocals in a guided, studio-style environment. iPads will be provided during camp, and students are encouraged to bring their own device with GarageBand installed so they can continue developing their music after camp ends.
Students will also explore drums, guitar, and piano as tools to support their songwriting and production.
No prior music experience is required—just curiosity and creativity.

Band Lab
Start a band and make music with friends! Learn to play your favorite songs, write original music, create band names and logos, and design your own merchandise. Perfect for students with some experience on their instrument, but beginners are welcome too. Group meeting times are flexible—It’s your band, let’s bring it to life!
Includes 5 one hour sessions, t-shirt, materials, in class instrument/ technology usage/, and screen printed shirt with logo (additional prints are available for purchase). Culminates with a performance.
